Overview

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic pharmacy technician with medicines management experience to join the Specialist Medicine team at Barts Health. The post holder will be based at Royal London Hospital but will also be required to work at Mile End and Whipps Cross Hospitals.The post holder will be working closely with the Highly Specialist Rheumatology and Dermatology Pharmacist and the Highly Specialist Gastroenterology Pharmacist. You will also work closely with the wider pharmacy team, homecare team and specialist medicine multidisciplinary team.You will be supporting the Royal London Pharmacy department and Specialist Medicine Division team in delivering high quality pharmaceutical care to patients in Specialist Medicine, efficient and safe supply of medicines, training for staff, governance and financial review of medicines.At Barts Health we take pride in developing our staff to progress. Support the Specialist Medicine Team (Rheumatology, Dermatology and Gastroenterology) to ensure good pharmaceutical care for patients in Specialist Medicine, efficient and safe supply of medicines, training for staff, governance and financial review of medicines. This will include supporting the supply, technical review of monitoring of medicines, direct patient contact, liaising with home care providers and creating financial reports.About us
