An excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Electrician to join a growing clean energy business and take a leading role across its electrical installations. With paid overtime, a company van and fuel card, alongside funded Air Conditioning and F-Gas training, this is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician looking to increase their earnings, broaden their technical skillset and progress into a senior position.

The company is an engineering-led clean energy business delivering a range of energy solutions across commercial projects, with ambitious plans to expand its operations and electrical capabilities. They are now looking for an experienced Lead Electrician who can work autonomously, lead from the front and help develop junior colleagues, with long-term opportunities to progress towards Lead Engineer and potentially into design or management as the business grows.

As a Lead Electrician (Solar), your responsibilities will include:
* Leading electrical installations and commissioning across commercial projects, predominantly within an hour of Cheltenham
* Working independently from technical drawings and taking ownership of electrical works on site
* Acting as the technical lead on site, troubleshooting issues and ensuring installations are completed safely and professionally
* Mentoring and supporting a junior colleague while helping develop the electrical capability of the business

The successful Lead Electrician (Solar) should have:
* Strong electrical installation and commissioning experience with the ability to work independently and lead works on site
* Approved Electrician status with relevant electrical qualifications; 2391 highly desirable
* Solar PV experience or qualifications advantageous, with additional renewable energy experience beneficial
* Strong leadership, communication and professional standards with the ability to mentor junior engineers
