      <description>Location: London | Salary: 35.00-35.00 Annual | Type: Contract | Lead Software Engineer - Python - Django - Government - SC Clearance - 12 month contractI am looking for a number of experienced Software Engineers to join a busy programme with a central government department developing and improving scalable, and user-centred commercial controls tools.Due to the nature and the urgency of the role, candidates who hold active SC clearance will be preferred.The role can be based across the UK with flexibility to work 2 days onsite in your nearest hub.I am keen to speak with candidates who have:Strong commercial experience with Python and DjangoProven end-to-end system design and architecture capabilityExperience working in agile, multidisciplinary teamsAbility to contribute effectively within secure, structured environmentsStrong collaboration and communication skills, including working with non-technical stakeholdersDesirable:Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) standardsPublic sector or defence-related project experienceExposure to secure or regulated environmentsInterested?
