Specialist Recruitment Consultant at Halian Technologies – Halian Technologies are hiring on behalf of our client, who is a leading provider of gym membership and leisure management cloud solutions. We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to guide a dynamic and collaborative development team. This is a leadership role which will include some hands-on development, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and leading others to success.You’ll be leading software engineers through the full product lifecycle using Agile methodologies. This is a varied role where you’ll split your time between people leadership, scrum mastering, and active development using C#/.NET technologies.Key Responsibilities and Requirements are provided below.Note : Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Line manage, mentor, and support a team of developersLead sprint ceremonies: standups, planning, retrospectives, and refinementRemove blockers and drive team progress in an Agile environmentHands-on coding: design, develop, test, and refactor applicationsCollaborate with Product Owners to align priorities and deliverablesMaintain code quality through peer reviews and technical leadershipBecome a subject matter expert in key system areas

Required Experience

5+ years of experience in software application developmentStrong expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET CoreSolid experience with Microsoft SQL ServerSkilled in using Visual Studio and Git/SVN for version controlDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
