OverviewA market leading financial company is seeking a Lead Software Developerto lead the design, development, and delivery of risk and compliance technology solutions across its Marketing operations. This is a high-impact role at the centre of a business transformation journey, with responsibility for building robust, scalable systems for market risk, credit risk, operational risk, compliance, and regulatory reporting.The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with commodities trading knowledge, driving the development of innovative solutions to support a complex, global marketing business.Role and ResponsibilitiesLead design and delivery of risk reporting, PandL attribution, and compliance systems for Marketing IMDevelop tools for real-time dashboards, scenario analysis, and risk monitoring (market, credit, operational)Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and automation for risk analytics and reportingImplement scalable solutions to monitor risks across inventories, derivatives, FX, and counterparty creditEnhance and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) risk platformsCollaborate with risk teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutionsDefine design patterns, development standards, and quality controlsLead and mentor developers, managing performance and growthContribute to tech strategy, promoting innovation and best practices8+ years in software development within commodities/financial servicesSkilled in C#, .NET Core, Angular (v17+), SQL Server, Azure, microservices, and Power BIExperience in unit testing, test automation, and Agile deliveryKnowledge of market, credit, and operational risk, compliance, and trade lifecycleProven in delivering complex risk and compliance solutionsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsBonus: Python, Azure Data Factory/Databricks, data analysis, and COTS risk platforms (e.g., CubeLogic, deltaconX)Package15% non-contributory pensionHybrid working (3 days per week)Performance-based bonus schemeComprehensive benefits package including pension, healthcare, and wellbeing supportI consent to Intec Select collecting my personal data ..... full job details .....
