My client, a respected and growing civil engineering company based in the Highlands, is seeking a Lead Site Engineer to oversee and deliver high-quality site operations across major projects. This role offers the chance to lead from the front, ensuring technical accuracy, operational efficiency, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead day-to-day site engineering activities, ensuring all work is delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
-Supervise and mentor junior engineers, setting clear objectives and supporting their development.
-Conduct site surveys, set out works, and ensure technical drawings are followed precisely.
-Liaise closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
-Oversee quality control, safety standards, and compliance with relevant legislation.
-Resolve technical issues on site and implement effective solutions.
About You:
-Proven experience as a Site Engineer with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
-Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and site operations.
-Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-Proficient in setting out and using relevant surveying equipment.
-Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline.
