      <description>Location: City | Salary: 450.00-450.00 Daily | Type: Contract | Exciting opportunity for a Lead Signalling Design Engineer (outside IR35) to join a major name in the rail industry. The purpose of the role is to manage design activities to ensure the safe, timely and successful implementation of signalling schemes.   Duties:  Management of signalling design plans, estimates and drawings Ensuring designs can be constructed and installed safely, in line with customer requirements and industry specifications Making sure project timescales and budgets are adhered to Check and review designs produced Provide guidance and support to the design team   Qualifications and Experience:  Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, degree or equivalent), along with track record in railway signalling design IRSE Signalling Principles Designer and Verifier Licence High level of proficiency in signalling scheme design, LAP, specifications, SSI wiring, fringe designs etc  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Signalling Design Engineer.
