The Role
As the Lead School Nurse, you will provide hands:on clinical care, strategic oversight, and professional mentorship across all aspects of student healthcare. This includes:
Leading the medical team in managing minor ailments, injuries, and chronic conditionsCoordinating with internal and external healthcare providers for continuity of careDeveloping and delivering health education, mental health support, and safeguarding proceduresSupporting emergency response readiness and training across staff and studentsManaging medical record:keeping, medication protocols, and clinical reporting
About You
The Successful candidate will need:
NMC registration as an RGN, RSCNAt least 2 years of post:registration experience , preferably with children or in an educational settingLeadership or supervisory experienceStrong IT skills and confidence with digital health recordsExcellent communication skillsA proactive, organised approach
