Lead Production Operative

Working for a large established industrial agriculture and plant factory you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team. In the role of Lead Operative you will be responsible for management and performance of a designated production line(s), ensuring all aspects of Production are in accordance with compliance, quality standards and departmental KPIs.The working hours are 05:45 - 14:15. Key responsibilities include: Supervise the shift team and relevant non-shift personnel working in ProductionClosely supervise and carry out inductions for any temporary staff employed in ProductionParticipate in the daily Production huddles and ensure regular communication/briefings to provide the Production team with the relevant information to carry out their role to the maximum effectCarry out training as necessary in Production procedures, working practices and Company policyImplement the Production plan as efficiently as possible to maximise the throughput during your shift by organising staff in the best way to maximise effective and efficient output Suggest and help implement any cost-saving ideas or improvementsComply with all relevant company policies and procedures and customer standards, including but not limited to Health and Safety, Food Safety, Integrity and Quality and Equality and DiversityMaintain a high level of quality with a focus on zero defectsCarry out QA checks and complete relevant documentationThe successful applicant will be expected ..... full job details .....
