Your new role Job Description: Cloud Solution Design:o Design scalable, secure, and highly available architectures using AWS services such as EC2,o Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, VPC, and CloudFront Select appropriate AWS services based on business requirements, performance needs, and cost considerations. Architecture Governance and Standardso Define and enforce cloud architecture best practices, patterns, and standards.o Ensure solutions adhere to security frameworks, compliance rules, IAM principles, and AWSo Well Architected Framework guidelines. Technical Leadershipo Provide technical direction to engineering teams, developers, DevOps engineers, and data specialists.o Review solution designs, perform architectural assurance, and guide teams through implementation challenges. Security and Complianceo Implement security controls including IAM policies, encryption, network segmentation,o monitoring, and threat detection.o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, PCI DSS) through AWS-native tools and architectural controls. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)o Lead the adoption of IaC using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.o Standardize reusable templates and modules for consistent and repeatable deployments across environments.
