Lead PMO/Senior Project ManagerCentral belt Scotland, Hybrid roleExcellent package on offerThis is a new opportunity for a Lead Senior Project Manager who has led global large scale programmes and budgets. Must also have not only managed but delivered also and in line with the framework and best practice. These programmes will be a mix of Software Development, Infrastructure and Business related programmes which would also include security initiatives. Management of a small team of Project Managers, and must have experience of full project management life cycle. Support the definition and implementation of the Global IT Strategy with responsibility for the management of the group function PMO, reporting and project governance.Responsibilities

Manage team financials ensuring budgets and 5 year plans are properly defined, spend is maintained and tracked within budget and all necessary capital expenditure is submitted for approval.Support the definition and delivery of IT policies, procedures and infrastructure standards in line with best practiceManage the IT technical delivery programme, establishing and agreeing business priorities to deliver globally aligned benefits and servicesEstablish successful stakeholder relationships, managing expectations in the delivery, support and enhancements of IT Services, including leading Steering Group Meetings and Global ForumsEnsure delivery of compliant services through rationalisation and alignment with the company global technical blueprintEssential

Educated to degree level or equivalentExtensive experience managing the delivery, support and maintenance of business and technology solutionsIn-depth knowledge of multiple business applications and reporting servicesSkilled in building relationships and delivering for a multi-site or international environmentKnowledge of Industry best practice methodologies including Software Development Lifecycles, Technical Infrastructure, and IT Service ManagementProven track record of implementing, enhancing and supporting core business applications that are key to business successEffective in commercial and 3rd party vendor management with major service contractsKnowledge and understanding of formal project management and continuous improvement/Lean practicesAbility to engage and influence senior stakeholdersStrategic thinker who can manage the detail and drive towards implementation successIndividually driven to deliver results, with the ability to drive solutions through to completion across any ..... full job details .....
