Lead Platform Engineer Nottingham Hybrid £65,000-£75,000 About the Role: We''re partnering with an established and growing data business based in Nottingham to find a talented Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of their cloud infrastructure and help shape the next stage of their platform. This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of 1 day per week required in the Nottingham office. The Opportunity: This is a hands-on role offering genuine ownership and influence. You''ll be responsible for the reliability, security, scalability and cost-effectiveness of the company''s Azure and DevOps estate, while helping transition infrastructure from manually managed environments into a modern, automated and repeatable platform. You''ll play a key role in a significant cloud separation and migration programme, working across Azure, GCP and modern data platforms. You''ll also have the opportunity to establish and improve DevOps standards, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring and disaster recovery practices as the business continues to grow its B2B API and data platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the company''s Azure cloud estate, ensuring security, reliability and cost efficiency. Lead the adoption of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including bringing existing infrastructure under management. Owning and operating Kubernetes workloads, including deployments, ingress, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting and day-to-day platform operations. ..... full job details .....
