Lead Planner

Hyreus is currently recruiting an experienced Lead Planner for an exciting opportunity based in Peckham, London, working on a major infrastructure project with a leading Tier One civil engineering contractor. The successful candidate will take a lead role in planning and programme management, working closely with project management, engineering, commercial and delivery teams to ensure projects are effectively planned, monitored and controlled. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner looking to take on a senior role within a major London infrastructure environment. Responsibilities Lead the development, management and monitoring of detailed project programmes from planning through to completion. Work closely with project, engineering, commercial and delivery teams to ensure programme objectives are achieved. Develop and maintain baseline programmes, short-term programmes, lookaheads and detailed project schedules. Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays, risks and opportunities. Analyse programme performance and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery strategies. Provide regular programme updates, reports and progress information to project teams and senior management. Coordinate programme inputs from engineering, procurement, commercial, construction and subcontractor teams.
