Lead P6 Planner

Our client, a leader in the water sector, is currently seeking a Lead P6 Planner to join their team in Colchester on a contract basis.Key Responsibilities:Developing processes to improve planning efficiencySupporting client meetings to ensure clear communication and progressTraining staff on best practices and use of P6Delivering internal and external reportingEngaging with local operational management to ensure programmes are updated regularlyEnsuring contract compliance and adherence to pre-determined templatesJob Requirements:Extensive experience in planning, particularly with P6Ability to instil good practices within a teamExcellent reporting skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills to effectively support client meetingsUnderstanding of the water sector and its unique challengesCapability to adapt to changing requirements and client needsProficient in training and guiding team membersRole Overview:This role focuses on instilling good practices within the team and providing robust reporting. The P6 programmes are basic, and templates are pre-determined by the client. The planners function as data processors, are responsible for updating and reporting on programmes, and do not manage the programme delivery.
