Lead Offshore Cables Installation Specialist for a major offshore wind project in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Review of contractor cable system designs and installation methodologies with respect to the Employer''s Requirements.
• Co-ordination of all aspects of the tendering phase including but not limited to managing and responding to clarifications from the project and contractors, technical and commercial evaluation.
• Work with other package teams and ensure cross package interfacing, cables inputs and outputs are managed efficiently.
• Preparation of technical documentation and specifications for internal or contractor''s use.
• Participation in meetings with contractor''s representatives at all stages of the concept refinement and FEED phases of the project to ensure compliance with

Essential

• Minimum of 10 years'' relevant experience;
• Experience with cable installation and testing;
• Experience in technical and commercial evaluation of submarine cable systems.
• Experienced in contract preparation and evaluation for vessels and subsea operations.
• Experience in subsea cable laying and burial campaigns, cable embedment, submersible vehicle operations, vessel positioning and commercial diving procedures.
• Submarine cable design, and development of specifications and employers'' requirements;
• Proficient in SHEQ standards for terrestrial and offshore projects, including familiarity with CDMC/ IMO/ IMCA requirements/ recommendations.
• Experience in managing and delivering complex projects;
• Experience in negotiating agreements and contracts of significant value
