Lead Engineer . You will be passionate about creating high-quality mobile experiences, balancing hands-on technical delivery and leadership, mentoring a small team, designing solutions, participating in reviews, and fostering consensus through clear communication and strong technical skills.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React NativeCollaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to integrate features using TypeScript and React NativeImprove user experience of mobile applicationsWork with shared codebases, source control, and documentationIdentify and resolve performance issuesWrite unit tests and documentationMentor junior developers and participate in code reviewsStay updated on mobile development trends and best practicesSkills:6+ years building mobile apps in React Native, with 2+ years in a technical lead roleExperience with large-scale SaaS applicationsDeep knowledge of React and React NativeStrong JavaScript skills, preferably with TypeScript and GraphQLUnderstanding of Android and iOS platformsExperience with frontend testing frameworksFamiliarity with modern build pipelines and toolingKnowledge of mobile UI/UX principlesProblem-solving, attention to detail, independence, teamworkProactive in identifying improvementsWork Mode and Salary:Hybrid work mode, in London twice a weekSalary: £95,000 - £100,000 gross/year, no current bonus or equityThe Interview Process:Online interview with Talent Partner, Engineering Lead, and Head of Frontend (-45 min)Final 75-minute video interview: experience discussion, technical test, QandAWe are committed to an inclusive, accessible recruitment process.
