Lead MERN Developer Leeds or Halifax, West Yorkshire £350 per day (inside IR35) We''re supporting a major organisation in the search for a Lead MERN Developer to join a high-performing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong leader who enjoys balancing hands-on development with team leadership and stakeholder management responsibilities. You''ll play a key role in delivering modern, scalable applications while helping to guide a small team of developers and engaging with a broad range of business and technology stakeholders. We are pleased to offer this role on a hybrid basis with 2 days required at either their Leeds or Halifax offices. This will be an initial 6-month contract with potential of extension thereafter. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a small team of developers, promoting engineering best practices and high-quality delivery. Act as a key technical point of contact for stakeholders across the business. Remain hands-on, contributing to architecture, design, development and code reviews. Build and maintain modern web applications using React, Node.js and TypeScript. Work closely with product, delivery and engineering teams to deliver business-critical solutions. Drive a quality-first approach through automated testing and continuous improvement. Required Skills andamp; Experience Strong commercial experience with TypeScript.
