Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise manufacturing processes to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
- Support daily production-resolve build and quality issues swiftly.
- Lead process development and testing for new product introductions (NPI).
- Maintain documentation, tools, and calibration of production equipment.
- Ensure ISO 9001 and QMS compliance; support COSHH and electrical safety.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances with root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and production teams on process and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to design-for-manufacture efforts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree-qualified in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years'' experience in low-volume, electro-mechanical manufacturing.
- Background in scientific, medical, or regulated products preferred.
- Familiar with CE marking; US regulatory knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communicator with proven cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience mentoring or leading small teams or engineers.
