Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on maintenance expertise while supporting the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Department.

You''ll be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, supporting technicians and contractors, ensuring high Health & Safety standards, and helping to keep site facilities operating safely and efficiently.

The Role
*Supervising and supporting the Maintenance Team
*Planning and prioritising routine and corrective maintenance
*Supporting contractors, shutdowns and project work
*Ensuring Health & Safety and compliance standards are maintained
*Identifying opportunities for plant improvement
*Ensuring maintenance systems and documentation are kept accurate and up to date
*Taking responsibility for day-to-day maintenance performance

The Candidate
*Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
*Good working knowledge of electrical systems
*4-5 years'' relevant maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
*Experience within oil & gas or a similar industry
*Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
*Strong problem-solving ability
*Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure
