Lead Full Stack Developer - Newcastle-Upon-Tyne - 75-80K base + benefits We have an exciting opportunity for an experience Lead/ Senior Full Stack Developer to help transform an established company into a modern software business. Reporting into the Chief Product Officer, this is a very hands on position where you will have the opportunity to recruit your own small team.This role will involve driving the migration of a legacy Windows VCL application to a modern multi-tiered web application via a browser-based front-end integrated with a set of RESTful API microservices that provide context and business logic. The role will drive architectural decisions and ensure best practices in both front-end and back-end development and work closely with stakeholders, product managers and 3rd party providers.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building these types of applications and specifically in delivering scalable, efficient microservices.
