Lead Estates Manager Location: LondonContract: PermanentSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceDepartment: Estates / Facilities Management About the role We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Lead Estates Manager to join the Estates team of a large and complex education organisation. This is a senior operational leadership role, responsible for ensuring the effective, compliant and high-quality delivery of estates and facilities services across a diverse estate. You will lead the operational management of facilities management services delivered through external partners, including the mobilisation and ongoing management of an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract. You will monitor performance, KPIs and SLAs, undertake audits and work closely with providers to ensure consistently high standards. You will also support the strategic development of the estate through capital projects, refurbishment, condition assessments, minor works, acquisitions and disposals. Key responsibilities Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of estates and facilities services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, waste and grounds maintenance. Manage the IFM contract, monitoring performance against KPIs, SLAs and agreed service standards. Develop and implement estate development and maintenance plans.
