Jenrick is looking for an Engineering Services Planner / Scheduler for a well established Bedfordshire-based manufacturer of special purpose machines sold to household blue chip names across the globe.
This newly-created role will focus on understanding customer enquiries, gathering technical information to assess the scope and urgency in order to prioritise each request.
You will combine this together with preventative maintenance and proactive maintenance service contracts to optimise the schedules of their in-house service engineers including route management, and creating dedicated visit packs for engineers.
In addition, you will follow up on engineer reports to identify potential sales opportunities such as spares, repairs, upgrades, maintenance and staff training.
You will be based at their recently refurbished site in Bedford (within easy reach of the A6 and A421 and free on-site parking) with an early finish on Fridays, good salary and benefits package.
Candidates should have proven experience in a customer service role within a technical or engineering environment, or alternatively, have worked as an engineering or maintenance planner / scheduler.
Applicants should have the ability to understand technical terminology and be comfortable using ERP and CRM tools.
