Lead Engineer

Position: Lead Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Contract: Permanent, Full-Time A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial static site in Birmingham. What you''ll do: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical building services systems. Perform fault finding and repairs on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control panels, distribution boards, and associated electrical plant. Lead the day-to-day engineering activities on site, providing technical support while overseeing a small team of three engineers. Allocate workloads, support the development of the engineering team, and ensure maintenance activities are completed to a high standard. Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory compliance requirements. Support minor electrical installation works, system upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Maintain accurate maintenance records and liaise with site management to ensure high standards of service delivery.
