Job Title: Lead Engineer Location: Stonehouse, GloucestershireSalary:£53,000Shift:Monday to Friday - Days Only Job Role of the Lead Engineer An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Engineer to join a well-established and fast-paced food manufacturing business based in Stonehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to step into a leadership role while remaining hands-on within a modern manufacturing environment. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day engineering function, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and supporting the engineering team in delivering planned and reactive maintenance across the site. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, improving engineering standards and ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum. This position would suit a proactive engineering professional with strong leadership skills who enjoys mentoring others while maintaining a hands-on approach.
