This role plays a key part in ensuring engineering excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across site operationsKey Responsibilities needed for this Lead Engineer role: Leadership and Team Support: Lead, coach and support a team of engineers, providing hands-on technical guidanceAct as deputy to the Engineering Manager, overseeing activities and budgets when requiredEnsure planned preventative maintenance schedules and corrective works are completed effectivelySupport delivery of training for engineers and operators on equipment and processesCompliance, Safety and StandardsEnsure adherence to QHSE standards, policies and proceduresMaintain compliance with risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR and relevant regulationsPromote a strong safety culture and ensure training requirements are metSupport maintenance of industry accreditations and standardsContinuous Improvement and Operational ExcellenceWork closely with production teams to improve equipment performance and OEELead initiatives around sustainability and waste reductionSupport installation, testing and maintenance of plant and equipmentSource spare parts and machinery via approved suppliersSkills and Experience needed ..... full job details .....
