Lead Engineer - Permanent Opportunity Location: Leeds, UKWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days office/2 days home About the Role We are currently recruiting for an exciting Lead Engineer opportunity with a global engineering and technology organisation based in Leeds. The successful candidate will play a key role within the Engineering function, leading projects from execution through to completion while working closely with internal teams, customers and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering projects through the execution phase, coordinating multiple internal stakeholders and client requirements. Oversee projects ranging from $5M to $200M in value, typically delivered over 12-24 months. Take responsibility for top-level engineering design and technical documentation. Produce and review technical documentation including: Testing procedures Assembly drawings Design specifications Schematics Operating manuals Lead internal and external project design reviews. Provide regular project status and progress updates to Engineering Management. Support projects through build and testing phases. Review technical specifications and provide engineering guidance. Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate engineering/product solutions. Work collaboratively with engineering, project management, manufacturing and other functions.
