Lead Engineer (Boston, Lincolnshire)

Location: Boston (commutable from Spalding, Grantham, Sleaford, Bourne, Newark, and surrounding areas)

The role:

As Lead Engineer, you''ll be responsible for leading and supporting the engineering team, ensuring PPM schedules are followed, reactive issues are resolved quickly, and improvements are delivered. You''ll also manage contractors, drive reliability, and support investment projects on site.

Weekday late or night shift with flexibility on this e.g. Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-10pm or 6pm-2am. The business is open minded regarding hours to suit the right
candidate.

The ideal candidate:

- 5+ years'' experience as a multi-skilled engineer in food manufacturing
- Previous team leadership/management experience
- Strong engineering background, able to read and interpret drawings
- IT literate with CMMS experience
- Proactive, hands-on, and a strong team player who leads by example
