Site Lead

About the Role:
As the Site Lead, you''ll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the site maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Fabric services. You''ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with statutory and mandatory standards, driving performance, and delivering exceptional service to our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of M&E plant and equipment.
- Manage the CAFM system to monitor performance and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
- Supervise specialist contractors and manage minor works.
- Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and work package plans.
- Respond to reactive maintenance and ensure timely completion of PPM tasks.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement across the contract.
What We''re Looking For:
Skills & Experience:
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Proficient in CAFM systems and E-Log Book management.
- Experience in compiling risk assessments and quotations.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Knowledge of M&E services, BMS systems, and statutory compliance.
Desirable:
- City & Guilds or equivalent in an electrical discipline.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Experience with fire alarm systems, generators, HVAC, and water treatment.
Success Measures:
- Achievement of contract KPIs and SLAs.
- High team performance and service standards.
- Statutory compliance and effective management of subcontractors.
- Timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
Reporting & Authority:
- Reports to: Contract Manager
- Financial Authority: Up to -1,000
- (On-site role with occasional out-of-hours call-outs as per rota)
