A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, overseeing 5 prestigious commercial office sites in Mayfair. This is a hands-on role where you will take the lead across the portfolio, managing a small team of 2 engineers while remaining actively involved in both planned and reactive maintenance.
 
Working for a highly respected building services provider, this position offers the chance to step into a leadership role while still staying close to the tools, giving you the perfect balance between technical delivery and team management.
You will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance delivery, ensuring compliance across electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, managing contractors, and building strong client relationships at each site.
 
Duties

• Lead a team of 2 engineers across 5 commercial office sites
• Carry out and allocate PPMs & reactive maintenance
• Electrical & mechanical systems: Single/Three Phase Power, UPS, Generators, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Pumps, Sprinkler Systems, BMS operation
• Safe isolation of plant and systems in accordance with regulations
• Maintain compliance paperwork, logbooks, RAMS, and reporting
• Organise and oversee subcontractors
• Conduct regular client meetings and ensure excellent service delivery
• Support the Account Manager with updates and reporting
• Hands-on maintenance and remedial works as required

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations
• Strong building services maintenance background
• Previous supervisory or lead engineer experience (desirable)
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Motivated, organised, and career-driven

Salary & Benefits

• £48,000 - £52,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
