The Role As a Lead Electrician, you''ll take ownership of larger commercial and industrial electrical projects, installations and more complex call outs, acting as the first point of contact on site and taking responsibility for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues. The role sits within the company''s MandE department, working across a range of commercial environments, with a strong focus on healthcare sites alongside wider commercial and industrial projects. Your work will include electrical installation and modification work associated with heating, cooling and MandE systems, including wiring and connecting heat pumps and associated equipment, as well as broader electrical installations, fault finding, isolations and refurbishments. This is a hands-on role with a long-standing business with over 150 staff! Rather than focusing always on day-to-day reactive works, you''ll be trusted to lead jobs, manage projects and deal with more technically challenging situations, working closely with the wider mechanical and engineering teams to deliver complete MandE solutions.
