Lead Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to oversee and manage electrical installations on a large-scale commercial construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, coordinating with site management, ensuring code compliance, and delivering high-quality workmanship on schedule.

Lead Electrician Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a crew of electricians on a commercial job site

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment

• Ensure compliance with NEC codes and safety regulations

• Coordinate inspections and work with project managers, GC, and other trades

• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and issues

• Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices

Lead Electrician Qualifications:

• Gold ECS card

• SSSTS / SMSTS

• Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

• Deep understanding of commercial wiring methods, conduit installation, switchgear, and panel work

• Strong ability to read blueprints and work independently

• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
