We are seeking a Lead Multi Skilled Electrical Technician for a reputable FM company to look after 10 sites across the North East. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of electrical systems across industrial facilities that support the energy technology sector.

You will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient delivery of all electrical maintenance activities, including planned, corrective, and reactive work, along with the associated control processes.

This role expands on core technical duties, with increased responsibility for accountability, compliance, and safety leadership expected of an Electrical Technician operating in a critical industrial environment.

Main Duties:

• Ensure all electrical work complies with legislation, site rules, and safety procedures (including permits, isolations, and lock-out/tag-out).
• Inspect installations to confirm compliance with regulations and site standards.
• Challenge unsafe conditions and stop work if safety is compromised.
• Provide technical support and guidance for electrical activities.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out safe, effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Support installation, modification, and improvement of electrical systems.
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and in line with specifications.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams and site operations.
• Provide technical support to colleagues as required.

What we are looking for:

• Electrical qualification - NVQ/SVQ/C&G
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification.
• Experience working with electrical systems in an industrial, energy, manufacturing, or oil and gas environment.
• Engineering background and competency to accurately estimate labour hours and material requirements for electrical jobs.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of EHS requirements.
• Full UK driving licence, as this is a mobile role covering our client sites in the North East of Scotland.
