This high-impact role involves leading the design of PLC-based control panels, cabling solutions, MCCs, Drives and Controls, and Switchgear for highly regulated industrial environments, focusing on thermal and hydro power generation. The engineer will lead a team, ensure compliance, and oversee the full project lifecycle from site survey to commissioning.Key Responsibilities: Lead and drive the hardware/electrical engineering team, reviewing and approving all designs.Ensure team compliance to agreed procedures, methods, and engineering standards.Interpret customer data and specifications to lead/produce system designs.Lead the creation/modification of Design Packs (GAs, schematics, wiring diagrams, site cable drawings).Produce all required client documentation: FDS, Test Documentation, Manuals.Lead site surveys and support Site Acceptance Testing/Commissioning.Support tender document production and cost estimates.
