Lead Electrical Engineer

Lead Electrical Engineer for a major Carbon Capture & Storage based in The Netherlands

Responsibilities

• Safety first: Ensuring that contractors and team members comply with HSE rules and procedures, ensuring that all operations comply with industry and project safety standards.
• Supervising pre-commissioning and commissioning of instrumentation, process control and safety systems. This includes point-to-point testing, walking tests, full functional testing of safety and control functions, and process control adjustment.
• Review and approve all instrumentation and control system transfer documentation, including Mechanical Completion certificates, Inspection Test Records, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Monitoring progress in delivery and commissioning via the Completion Management Systems.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor''s degree in instrumentation, process control or process engineering.
• Professional communication skills in English, preferably also in Dutch.
• Demonstrable experience in multidisciplinary project teams and collaboration with subcontractors.
• Experience with completions management systems such as Checcboard or similar.
• Qualified, trained and willing to travel and work offshore.
• Minimum of 5 years of project experience in testing and commissioning instrumentation, process control and safety systems
