Lead Electrical Engineer

OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer for our client located in Immingham. The appointed will lead, produce, review and check electrical activities and deliverables which include, Philosophies, Specifications, Schedules, Drawings and Diagrams, Datasheets and Technical Requisitions for long lead items. Have good knowledge of electrical systems, Electrical based software design packages. In addition, it is expected that the incumbent will perform a supervisory role mentoring more junior engineers and designers and be actively involved in client liaison, bid preparation and work prioritisation and allocation within the team. You will also: Participate in multi-discipline Engineering Design Reviews and provides all necessary power and electrical engineering input and support to close out of actions. Identifies a clear scope of work and prepares the Master Document Register (MDR). Responsible for planning / scheduling the electrical engineering activities and manpower resource. Prepare and review electrical designs Delegate some level of supervision and specific checking activities to appropriate competent personnel. Identifies and resolves discrepancies and divergences from original proposal / contract by raising technical queries with projects / client. Quantifies the total number of engineering deliverables, man-hour allocation and format of delivery, and other requirements for execution of the work.
