Lead Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to take ownership of the Electrical Engineering function within an established engineering business.This is a senior technical and leadership position, combining hands-on electrical engineering with team management, technical authority and project delivery.You will work across major projects within the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy and chemical sectors, with involvement from concept and FEED through to detailed design and commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Electrical Engineering teamAct as the technical authority for electrical engineering mattersReview and approve electrical drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentationEnsure designs meet relevant standards, regulations and HSEQ requirementsReview vendor and multidisciplinary engineering documentationManage departmental workload, resources and technical qualitySupport projects through concept, FEED, detailed design and close-outLiaise with clients, suppliers and other engineering disciplinesCoach and mentor engineersDevelop engineering standards, processes and best practiceAttend client sites and support commissioning when requiredWhat We''re Looking ForHNC/HND or Degree in Electrical EngineeringSenior/Lead Electrical Engineering experience within a consultancy, design house or EPC/EPCM environmentExperience across oil and gas, petrochemical, energy or chemical projectsStrong project experience from Concept/FEED through ..... full job details .....
