Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for A Lead Diagnostics and Electrical Systems Engineer to join our clients growing Automotive Manufacturing team based in the Llanelli area. Contract: PermanentSalary: 45,000paHours of work: Full time: Monday - Thursday 08.30-17.00/ Friday 09.00-15.00Role Purpose: The Lead Diagnostics and Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for leading the development, release and delivery of automotive diagnostic solutions, retailer diagnostic tooling and vehicle electrical systems engineering activities across premium automotive and electrified vehicle programmes. The role acts as the primary technical interface between customers, suppliers, business development teams and internal engineering functions, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality, timing and budget objectives. This is a hands-on technical leadership position combining engineering excellence, customer engagement, commercial support and team mentoring.Key Responsibilities: Lead automotive diagnostic development, validation, release and maintenance activities. Define diagnostic strategies and technical solutions for customer programmes. Lead design, development, production and support of retailer diagnostic tooling. Provide specialist expertise in vehicle electrical and electronic systems. Support EV and HV investigations, testing, validation and issue resolution.
