Lead Developer Salary: £49,896 - £58,700 pa Location: Birmingham - Hybrid (2 days per week minimum office attendance) Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time The General Dental Council (GDC) is the statutory body responsible for regulating dental professionals in the UK. We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Developer to join our IT Development Team, who will lead a multi-disciplinary development team in an Agile environment - developing hands-on solutions within the Dynamics 365 CRM. The role will be responsible for technically developing IT changes and IT projects - primarily focused on code development, with additional management responsibilities for team/change/technical focus. The role: Leading Development - including directing activities to maximise effectiveness using an Agile, iteration-based approach. Undertake line management responsibilities, including performance management for team. Ensure development projects are delivered on time, meet business requirements and goals, fulfil end-user requirements, as well as assisting with identifying and resolving systems issues. Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the GDC. Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
