Lead Developer - Stockport - £65,000-£75,000 (Must have done line Management)We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer vto lead the design, development, delivery, and support of enterprise SaaS applications. This role combines technical leadership with people management, ensuring secure, scalable, high-performing solutions that align with business objectives.Working closely with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, QA, and Engineering teams, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive Agile delivery, and promote engineering excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop onshore and offshore engineering teams.Own technical design, software delivery, and platform evolution.Drive Agile delivery, CI/CD, automation, and engineering best practices.Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and meet SLAs.Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to deliver roadmap priorities.Conduct code reviews, support architectural decisions, and resolve complex technical challenges.Improve cloud infrastructure, monitoring, testing, and deployment processes.Champion DevOps, automated testing, and AI-assisted development practices.Skills and ExperienceProven experience leading software engineering teams (2/3+ years ManagementStrong background in Java, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.Knowledge of ..... full job details .....
