They have two sites in Scotland and form part of an international business stretching into Europe, the USA and Middle-East. The group is undergoing extensive growth and change right now, and they are currently looking to recruit a Lead Dayshift Engineer. Reporting into the Engineering Lead, the Lead Dayshift Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership within the engineering team, ensuring the smooth running of maintenance and engineering activities. In addition to delivering hands-on engineering support, you will deputise for the Engineering Leader when required, leading the team, attending site meetings, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in optimising plant performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting both maintenance and project work. Responsibilities: Deputise for the Engineering Leader in their absence, ensuring the engineering team is effectively managed and supported.
