Lead the technical direction of our Databricks Common Data PlatformDrive hands-on development with high-quality Python and SQL codeMentor and coach a distributed team of data engineersChampion CI/CD and automated testing best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align with Evri’s data strategyMaintain system resilience and accurate documentationIdentify and implement cost optimisation strategiesEstablish data governance frameworks for secure data handlingSupport developer interviews and contribute to team growthWork closely with the Head of Data Engineering to align with strategic goalsMust-Have Experience:

8+ years in data engineering, including leadership experienceExpert-level knowledge of the Databricks platformAdvanced Python development for logistics and delivery optimisationMastery of SQL for large-scale, nationwide operationsStrong understanding of data modelling for parcel tracking systemsExperience with both streaming and batch Spark workloadsProven ability to lead distributed teams in a hybrid environmentWhat We’re Offering:
