An exciting technology-led organisation in London is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join their growing platform team as they continue to build out their data and analytics capability.Based in: LondonHybrid working: 1-2 days a week in the officePermanent roleStart date: ASAPSalary: Up to £75k per annum The JobAs the Lead Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Leading the design and delivery of a modern cloud data platform supporting analytics, AI and client-facing data productsOwning data pipeline architecture across ingestion, transformation and data product layersSetting and maintaining data engineering standards, patterns and best practices across squadsMentoring and leading a small team of Data Engineers and working closely with Analytics Engineers and Data ScientistsRemaining hands-on with complex technical delivery, architecture decisions and code reviewsDefining CI/CD, testing, observability and infrastructure-as-code standards for data pipelinesEnsuring strong data governance, security controls and compliance across all datasetsPartnering with Product and commercial teams on data initiatives and client data onboardingSupporting analytics, BI and AI/ML use cases with well-structured, documented and reliable data modelsYou5+ years'' experience in data engineering or data platform rolesStrong hands-on experience with SQL, Python and distributed data processingProven experience building and operating modern cloud data platformsExperience with technologies ..... full job details .....
