– Competitive (including bonus)Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Architect responsible for designing and overseeing the technical implementation of Oracle''s Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions for UK public sector clients. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and technical architecture, guiding projects through the SDLC and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.Your roleAs an Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Architect, you will provide impactful technical solutions to our clients with a focus on the technical aspects of the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM modules including reports, integrations and data migration. You will need a deep understanding across various Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, recruitment, Learning, Talent Management, UK Payroll, Pension, OTL and Absence), backed by practical experience in the UK public sector. You will lead client engagements, discussing integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex functional and technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management. You will guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring smooth delivery and top system performance.Responsibilities

Lead and execute the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM for UK clients.Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Batch Loader.Discuss complex functional and technical solutions with diverse audiences, including technical, business, and management teams, walkthrough data mapping documents, environment planning, testing, and change requests.Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Payroll, OTL, Absence, and other relevant modules.Apply knowledge across the full SDLC including CRPs/playback sessions, training content preparation and delivering training for technical components.Translate requirements into technical solutions; design and implement integrations with Oracle HCM Cloud using OIC, HCM Extracts, and HDL.Lead technical aspects of data migration, including extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading using HDL, ensuring data integrity.Translate security models into tangible configurations; build and assign custom roles and security profiles to control data access as required.Use Redwood enablement tools to customize the user interface and enhance user experience.Act as the go-to technical expert for the project team; mentor junior developers and oversee quality of technical work.Review technical design documents and code to ensure scalability, maintainability and adherence to best practices.Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues during implementation.Manage Oracle HCM Cloud environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) and handle migration of configurations and code between them.Play a key role throughout the SDLC, including technical design, build, testing and post-go-live support; manage technical aspects of system updates and patches.Hands-on experience with UK Public Sector clients is a key requirement.Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify and mitigate risks.Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.Prepare status reports with RAG, highlight risks and mitigations, and maintain RAID log.Required

12+ years of progressive IT experience, with a minimum of 8 years as an Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Architect with Oracle HCM Cloud. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, including creating and maintaining Fast Formulas for payroll, absence, and benefits and developing complex BI Publisher reports.Design, build, and test integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM Extracts, and HCM Data Loader (HDL).Lead the technical aspects of data migration (extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading) using HDL to ensure data integrity.Translate the security model into configurations; build and assign custom roles and security profiles to control data access as required.Working with Redwood enablement tools to customize the user interface.Serve as the go-to person for all technical questions; mentor junior developers and ensure quality standards.Review technical designs and code to ensure scalability and best practices.Proactively identify technical risks and issues and develop solutions to keep projects on track.Manage Oracle HCM Cloud environments and handle migrations between environments.Participate in the SDLC from design to post-go-live support, including system updates and patches.Hands-on experience with UK Public Sector clients.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and mitigate risks.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for C-level executives and non-technical stakeholders, and provide detailed technical guidance to implementation teams.Work closely with the change management team to ensure adoption by end-users.Experience managing teams of 10+ would be a plus.Personal
