You''ll be instrumental in establishing and improving our reporting and analytical outputs, leveraging data to evaluate growth opportunities, profitability, and return on investment.As our Commercial Finance Business Partner, you’ll:

partner strategically with our MGA and Commercial teams, providing crucial trading performance analytics and deepening insights into the commercial drivers of the businesswork closely with Commercial leadership to drive the long-term strategy of the business, ensuring short-term decisions are aligned and supportive of our ambitious goalslead and support the budget and re-forecast processes, demonstrating adaptability to changes in our core operating model. You''ll navigate multiple, sometimes ambiguous, data sources and evolving processes as we transition to new finance and BI systemsdeeply understand the end-to-end profitability requirements of our growth and optimization initiatives, translating complex data into meaningful financial analysis and providing strategic interrogation of business casesWe’re looking for someone who is:

a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)an experienced business partner within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of influencing commercial decisionscomfortable managing large datasets, with a keen appreciation for potential ambiguity and the ability to find clarity.experienced working with Data teams and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense)excellent at financial modelling, able to translate complex financial data into insightful, management-level information that drives action(We know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap.
