Lead CNC Machinist
Hales Group are recruiting for an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to join our client based in Lowestoft, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, working within a busy and modern workshop environment. This permanent position offers full time hours on a rotating shift pattern, including early and late shifts. You will play a key role in supporting workshop operations during your shift, helping to guide and coordinate team activities while ensuring productivity and quality standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities Manufacture precision components using a range of CNC and manual machining methods Set and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-quality parts Edit and adjust CNC programs based on technical drawings and specifications Carry out machine set-ups, tooling adjustments, and program prove-outs Support and guide team members on shift, promoting best practice and efficient working Assist in coordinating daily workshop activities to help meet production targets Provide hands-on support with problem-solving and technical queries within the team Complete basic assembly and inspection tasks where required Ensure all work meets required quality standards and specifications Follow company procedures, including quality and Health and Safety guidelines Support wider workshop and cross-functional activities as needed Requirements Proven experience in CNC machining (milling, turning, or both) Experience ..... full job details .....
