Lead CCS EngineerLocation: London (Hybrid)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead CCS Engineer to provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of rail signalling, control, command, and communications standards and projects with one of our clients within the rail industry. This role will play a key part in supporting the evolution of the UK rail network through the development of requirements, guidance, and industry best practice across conventional and digital signalling systems.The successful candidate will work closely with industry stakeholders, technical committees, and project teams to support the delivery of innovative solutions covering signalling systems, train protection technologies, traffic management, communications, and emerging rail technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and maintenance of rail signalling and control system requirements, standards, and technical guidance.Support projects relating to ETCS/ERTMS, conventional signalling, train control and protection systems, traffic management, communications, and related technologies.Analyse system capabilities, operational interfaces, and industry requirements to improve safety, performance, and interoperability.Collaborate with engineering, operational, and industry specialists to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.Represent the organisation at industry forums, technical committees, and stakeholder meetings.Facilitate industry consensus on new and revised technical ..... full job details .....
