Location : Hartwell, Northants

Hours : 37.5 hours per week

Salary : £13.21 per hour

The Oakleaf Group are seeking to recruit a Lead Care Support Worker for one of their services in Hartwell. The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours with the confidence to lead and support a team around them.

The Lead Care Support Worker will work as a key member of our Multidisciplinary Care Team in maintaining and delivering a high standard of holistic resident care, 24 hours a day. You will implement and effectively assist in the day-to-day running of all prescribed resident care packages along with assisting in meeting all basic care needs.

The successful candidate will need to be a driver, with access to their own vehicle, or the means of transport to travel to rural work locations.

Responsibilities and requirementsResponsibilities

Implement and effectively assist in the day-to-day running of all prescribed resident care packages

Maintain a high standard of holistic resident care, 24 hours a day

Lead and support a multidisciplinary care team

Work flexibly and, if required, travel to rural work locations

Qualifications

Experience in a care environment

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care

Good communication skills, allowing you to engage and interact with residents

Ability to keep calm under pressure

Confidence to work alone and also be part of a team

Passionate about making a difference to someone’s life

Good written skills

Driver preferred but not essential
