Lead C&I Engineer

Lead Control & Instrument Engineer | FEED | Offshore Energy | Norwich (Hybrid - 3 days on site)I'm currently supporting a specialist offshore engineering organisation in their search for an experienced Lead Control & Instrument Engineer to lead the control and instrumentation engineering and design delivery of a Minimum Facilities Jacket Platform FEED project based in Norwich.

This role will suit a senior C&I professional with a strong background in offshore engineering, control and instrumentation systems, FEED execution and multidisciplinary project delivery.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate Control & Instrumentation engineering activities throughout the FEED phase
• Act as the Design Authority for Control and Instrumentation, providing technical direction across project scopes
• Develop engineering deliverables including specifications, data sheets, drawings, calculations and technical reports
• Lead the design of instrumentation, process control, Fire & Gas, Emergency Shutdown and Safety Instrumented Systems
• Coordinate design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant industry, project and company standards
• Interface with Project Managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, vendors and subcontractors

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 10 years' experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or a similar process industry
• Proven experience in instrumentation, control and safety systems design
• Strong experience delivering engineering project scopes and multidisciplinary projects
• Experience with Safety Instrumented Systems and IEC 61508/61511, including TUV or similar accreditation
• Strong knowledge and practical application of DSEAR and ATEX requirements
• HND or equivalent qualification in Instrumentation, Control Engineering or a related discipline

Desirable:

• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
• 15+ years' experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or a similar industry
• Experience working on or with top-tier COMAH sites
• Experience providing construction, installation and commissioning support
• Previous experience delivering offshore FEED and detailed design projects

This is an excellent contract opportunity to play a key role in a significant offshore FEED project, working with a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary engineering team.
