Proven experience in procurement as a Buyer, Indirect Buyer or similar role, with the ability to lead complex sourcing and stakeholder projects.A leading international organisation are currently recruiting for a Lead Buyer - Information Technology on a full-time, permanent basis in StevenageRole - Lead Buyer - Information Technology Type - Permanent Location - Stevenage Salary - Circa 45,000 - 55,000 depending on experienceKey responsibilities for the Lead Buyer - Information Technology will include and will not be limited to:Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activities across a broad IT spend portfolio, including software, SaaS, services and hardwareOwn and run larger procurement projects, supporting Category Managers and delivering against cost, quality and risk objectivesBuild and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships across the UK and Europe, operating effectively in an international contextEngage with suppliers and internal customers to define requirements, develop sourcing strategies and manage tender processesManage commercial discussions and negotiations to secure best value and robust contractual outcomesSupport governance, compliance and documentation requirements aligned to regulated procurement environmentsAttend and contribute to regular international team meetings and travel for stakeholder or supplier engagement where required Key skills and experience required for Lead Buyer - Information Technology job applicant and will not be limited ..... full job details .....
