Lead Business Process Owner (BPO) - Supply Chain Management (Two year fixed term contract)

East Leake (Hybrid) - Occasional planned travel when required

We''re embarking on one of the largest business transformation programmes in Saint-Gobain''s history, modernising the way we work through the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and the redesign of key business processes across our UK & Ireland operations. This programme will create more connected, efficient and data-driven ways of working, helping us better serve our customers and support future growth.

We''re looking for a Lead Business Process Owner - Supply Chain Management to play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation. Working across functions, markets and leadership teams, you''ll lead the design and optimisation of end-to-end supply chain processes, support the definition of future operating models, and help drive meaningful business change as part of a major SAP transformation programme.

In this role, you will also provide leadership and line management for Local Business Process Owners within the Supply Chain workstream, ensuring they are supported, aligned and equipped to represent their businesses effectively throughout the transformation. You''ll need to be comfortable communicating at all levels of the organisation, from operational teams and subject matter experts through to senior leadership, and able to turn complex process, data and system topics into clear, practical messages that build confidence and engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing across a wide stakeholder group, developing others, and bringing people together to deliver lasting business improvements.

The team are based out of East Leake, working on a hybrid basis. There will be an element of travel as the project gains momentum, which will be planned ahead of time.

What we''re looking for:

  • Extensive experience in business process design, organisational modelling and continuous improvement, with the ability to design effective, scalable ways of working.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, using data, metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities, measure success and support decision-making.
  • Proven experience leading, coaching or line managing colleagues within a complex programme, transformation or operational environment.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, helping teams make progress where processes, roles or solutions are still evolving.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences, including local business teams, functional experts, programme leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively, influence decisions and support alignment between local business requirements and standardised core model processes.
  • Experience building trust across cross-functional teams and creating a positive, inclusive environment where colleagues feel supported through change.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the design and improvement of end-to-end business processes, ensuring alignment with future ways of working and delivering value for our UK & Ireland businesses.
  • Build strong relationships across Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland, working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts and key users to drive collaboration and successful outcomes.
  • Provide line management, coaching and day-to-day direction for Local Business Process Owners within the Supply Chain workstream.
  • Act as the key link between the OXYGEN programme, local businesses and functional leadership, ensuring risks, decisions, dependencies and business impacts are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Support Local BPOs in preparing for workshops, process deep-dives, testing, change impact assessment and business readiness activities.
  • Represent the Supply Chain workstream in cross-functional discussions, helping to resolve process conflicts and ensure end-to-end alignment across O2C, P2P, Finance, Data and other connected areas.
  • Translate core model principles into practical business language, helping colleagues understand not only what is changing, but why it matters.
  • Champion process consistency, governance and continuous improvement, proactively managing risks, resolving issues and promoting high-quality outcomes.
  • Support business change and adoption activities, ensuring colleagues are engaged, informed and equipped to embrace new processes and ways of working.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and safe working environment, promoting wellbeing and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
